Before Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan came together for London Dreams, director Raj Kumar Santoshi was keen on having SRK and Aamir Khan as the lead protagonists for his flick. Instead of London Dreams he had named his flick Rashque and even got the two superstar Khans together for script narration.
A source says, “In principle both actors loved the script, said they wanted to go home and sleep over it before they started principal photography. But for months on end, Raj Santoshi chased both actors independently and neither of them reverted.’’If all had went well, SRk would have been playing Ajay’s role and Aamir would have been playing Sallu’s role.
Aamir recently revealed that he and SRK once did a flick together, he said, “you guys have missed a moment in film history. Shah Rukh and I were together in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Pehla Nasha way back in 1993 where we gave one shot in the same frame at a film premiere sequence.’’Now that’s a nice one Aamir.
